Before you launch the DuPont Refinish Historical Color Chip Library, here are some tips to make your search just a little easier...
- Make sure your Internet browser will allow pop-up windows for this site, as the Historical Color Chip Library will open an additional window later to display the chip pages.
- Try both the "Browse" and "Search" options to find the color chips since some pages featured multiple years and/or manufacturers on a single color chip page.
- To save the color chip page to your computer, right click inside the new window with the chips, and select "Save Target As..."
These scanned color chips are only a representation of the actual color. Colors may vary due to differences in monitors as well as chip production methods over the years.
Check with your local DuPont distributor for availability in today's refinish qualities. DuPont provides color tools, such as Chromavision® and Acquire RX and SpectraMaster® , that can help you choose the best possible color match in ChromaBase® and ChromaPremier® basecoats and single stage qualities. These chips should be used only as a reference point for older car model colors. DuPont disclaims any and all warranties and/or liability, expressed or implied, that the paint colors will match the color chip.
