Priomat® Wash Primer 4075 Gray is an acid-curing, two-component adhesion promoter based on polyvinylbutyral from our “PVB-system.”  Priomat® Wash Primer 4075 Gray promotes adhesion and serves as passive pretreatment of metal substrates, especially aluminum and top grade steel.  It must be used as part of a three product system.

Priomat® 1K Primer Surfacer 4085 is a zinc chromate-free one component product from our “PVB-system.”  It is recommended for cars requiring wet-on-wet finishes on small areas or finishes with intermediate sanding.  Because of its good adhesion and corrosion protection, this primer surfacer is easy and reliable in application.
Priomat® 1K Primer Surfacer 4085 is available in light gray and dark gray. Aerosol cans are available in light gray and dark gray.  Priomat® 1K Primer Surfacer 4085 may also be used as a weld-through primer.

Permahyd®1K Primer Surfacer 4100 is primarily used for spot repairs and for isolating areas of old finishes which have been sanded through. It is particularly suitable for recoating with the waterborne Permahyd® Base Coat Series 280/285.  Permahyd® 1K Primer Surfacer 4100 is available in gray.

Permasolid® 2.1 VHS Surfacer 5150 is a 2K acrylic product based on a special reactive binder with a very high solid content at application viscosity.  This surfacer has excellent vertical stability, very high build, and good sanding properties and, because of it’slower solvent content and less tendency to produce edge mapping.

Permacron® 2.1 Surfacer 5155 is a high quality 2K acrylic urethane.  Permacron® 2.1 Surfacer 5155 has excellent vertical stability, very high build, and good sanding properties while having a VOC under 2.1 lbs/gal. The fast drying and
excellent leveling of this surfacer will provide high
production.

Permasolid® Wet on Wet Surfacer 5190 is a
two-component, Very High Solid acrylic urethane.
Permasolid® Wet on Wet Surfacer 5190 is 2.8lb/gal VOC.

Permasolid® Spectro Surfacer 5400 is a 2K High Solid system and has different application qualities. It may be used as: under hood color, non-sanding surfacer, sanding surfacer.  The system includes six colored surfacers (white, black, yellow, red, green, blue). Using this system, colors can be mixed according to mixing formulas. These colors are displayed in a set of color chips.  The Permasolid® Spectro Additive 5407 is used for application as an efficient under hood color and as nonsanding surfacer.  5400 is a low VOC product with high solids content and excellent filling power. It is also a fast wet-on-wet system for recoating with Permacron® and Permahyd® Base Coat Series.

Permahyd® Stone Chip Protector 7100 is a waterborne product, which gives protection against the damage from stone chipping.  It is especially suitable for those areas on both passenger cars and commercial vehicles that are particularly susceptible to stone chipping, such as front parts and door sills. It is highly elastic and can be recoated with all top coats.

Permahyd® Base Coat Series 280 waterborne is a high quality paint based on special PU dispersions. It can be used for all two-stage- solid and metallic finishes on passenger cars.  After recoating with Permacron® or Permasolid® Clear Coat, the result is a high gloss, weather resistant finish.

Permahyd® Pearl Base Coat Series 285 waterborne is a high-quality paint based on special PU dispersions. It can be used for all two or three stage pearl finishes on passenger cars. After recoating with Permacron® or Permasolid® clear coat, the result is a high gloss, weather resistant finish.

Permacron® Base Coat Series 293 is a high quality base coat from our “Basis-System” for all two-stage finishes.  It is suitable for universal use on all passenger cars.  When recoated with Permacron® or Permasolid® Clear Coats, the result is a high gloss, weather resistant top coat.  All solid and metallic colors can be mixed with the Permacolor mixing system and are lead free.

Permacron® Pearl Base Coat Series 295 is a high quality base coat from our “Basis-System” for two-stage and three stage pearl finishes.  It is suitable for universal use on all passenger cars.  When recoated with Permacron® or Permasolid™ Clear Coats, the result is a high gloss, weather resistant top coat.  All pearl colors can be mixed with the Permacolor mixing system and are lead free.

Permacron® MS Clear Coat 8015 is a high gloss clear coat from our “2K-Acryl-System.”  It’s fast setting and through drying result in both time and
cost saving for all multi-stage finishes. The versatility of this product enables application in either one operation or two coats.  With excellent leveling and high gloss, it’s suitable for all top quality full and partial finishes.

Permasolid® HS Clear Coat 8030 is a high gloss, high solid clear coat from our “2K-Acryl-HS-System.”  Due to its very high solid content and power it can be applied efficiently in a single operation. The high coverage, shorter spraying time and fast low baking enable Permasolid® HS Clear Coat 8030 to be applied very economically.  This clear is also more environmentally friendly than the
usual clear coats, thanks to its lower solvent emissions. Its high resistance to all weathering and environmental influences provides the finish with long lasting protection.

Permasolid® HS Clear Coat 8035 is a high gloss, high solid clear coat from our “2K-Acryl-HS-System.”  This clear is designed specifically for easy application, perfect flow, an outstanding appearance – even at high application temperatures – and for large surface areas.  Permasolid® HS Clear Coat 8035 is National Rule VOC compliant. It is for shops that demand a versatile, high solids clear coat with great appearance, fast dry, and easy application.

Permacron® Semi-gloss Elastic Clear Coat 8070 is a semi gloss, clear coat from our “2K-Acryl-System.”  This clear coat is designed for low gloss finishes, and is especially useful on 2-stage paint jobs for plastic add-on parts (Example: lower effect panels and bumpers on Mercedes).

Permacron® Matte Clear Coat 8091 is a low VOC (2.1) clear coat designed to meet all lower gloss requirements.  It's the only product body shops will need to keep up with the growing popularity for matte finishes.  And is suitable for both flexible and rigid repairs.

8091 is compliant in the most stringently regulated areas, and was developed specifically for the California market.

Permacron® 2.1 Clear Coat is a high gloss, low VOC clear coat from our “2K-Acryl-System”.
This clear is also more environmentally friendly than the usual clear coats, thanks to its markedly lower VOC emission. Its high resistance to all weathering and environmental influences provides the finish with long lasting protection.

Permacron® 2.1 Clear Coat 8097 is a versatile, high gloss, and low VOC clear coat from our “2K-Acryl-System.”  This clear is environmentally friendly thanks to its markedly lower VOC content.  Permacron® 2.1 Clear Coat 8097 is a high appearance clear coat specially developed for large surfaces and high application temperatures. It is resistant to all weathering and environmental influences and provides an outstanding finish with long lasting protection.

Permacron® 1:1 Elastic Primer Surfacer 3300 is a
universal 2K Primer Surfacer for all plastic parts commonly found on passenger car exteriors.  This primer surfacer can be applied as part of an economical two-stage system, since it can be recoated directly with an elastified top coat.  It is characterized by good adhesion, high elasticity and easy application. Permacron® 1:1 Elastic Primer Surfacer 3300 is available in gray and black.

Priomat® Elastic Primer 3304 Transparent is a universal, one component adhesion promoter for all normal plastic parts on vehicles.  Priomat® Elastic Primer 3304 is also available in spray tins.

Permahyd® Plastic Cleaning Paste 7081 is a preparation paste that greatly reduces the need for baking new, unprimed plastic parts. It cuts the bake time from 60 minutes to just 15-30 minutes at 140°F and reduces the total labor cost.  Using this water-based paste enables users to eliminate the first solvent wipe typically required with other cleaners, which reduces the total VOC.

Permasolid® Elastic Additive 9050 is a special additive of highly elastic polyurethane resins.  It is used for adjusting two-component top coats to the
required degree of elasticity for painting plastic parts.

Hardeners,  Reducers,  Additives

Permacron® Hardeners are polyisocyanate hardeners for two component products from our “2K-High-Solid
System.”  Their special formulation ensures excellent dry through, even with air drying.  By selecting the appropriate hardener, ideal results can be achieved at different temperatures and with various sized objects.

The following review furnishes descriptions of the
Permacron® Reducers which are used in car refinishing.  These reducers enable the working viscosity of the product to be adjusted so that optimum application is possible under all conditions.

Permacron® Dura Plus 8580 is a special reducer
containing a drying accelerator for all 2K acrylic products and 1K primer surfacers.  Permacron® Dura Plus 8580 shortens the drying times of
Permacron® and Permasolid® Top Coats and Primer Surfacers.  This produces economies in both working hours and energy cost.

Permasolid® Accelerator 9030 is an accelerating agent for Permasolid® HS Clear Coat 8030.  It serves to reduce the drying times for spot repairs and partial resprays.

Permacron® Antisilicone 8510 can be added to
Permacron® and Permasolid® Top Coats to avoid
fisheyes on contaminated surfaces.

Permacron® Blending Solvent 1031 was developed because today the automotive industry is using a variety of different paint technologies which produce different refinishing results when blended in.  Using this solvent will allow you to achieve better results.
