VOC Regulation - VOCs can be regulated Nationally, Regionally or even by Air District or County.
Our technical data sheets give the ready-to-use VOC limit for the product line and, for your convenience, DuPont publishes VOC Compliance charts which indicate the proper mix ratio of our products to meet California and or National VOC content limits. It is important to understand that mixing in a ratio other than what is specified on the compliance charts puts you at risk of being out of compliance. The fines and penalties associated with VOC violations are widely variable and can be based on the amount of non-compliant product used over a period of time. Be sure that you have the appropriate compliance wall chart posted, and that painters are familiar with its contents. As new products are introduced, the wall charts are modified. Be sure that you always have the most recent version available, or know how to access it, should you be asked.

VOC Tracking
VOC tracking is important for demonstrating consistent compliant usage of product and compliance to emissions limitations. The easiest, most accurate method to track VOCs is by using the VOC Tracking Tool in ColorNet, Wizard and Univers.
